Please join us on Wednesday, June 10 from 5-7PM for a reception hosted by Hitoshi Abe, Mark Gold, Peter Kareiva, and Tina Quinn, and a conversation moderated by Frances Anderton of KCRW’s “DnA: Design with Architecture” with Jon Christensen, Dana Cuff, Kevin Daly, and Ursula Heise. Light appetizers and beverages will be served.
Developed by UCLA’s cityLAB, designed by Kevin Daly Architects with UCLA students, and built by faculty, students and staff at UCLA, the Backyard BI(h)OME is an ultra-modern, lightweight, energy and water efficient, accessory dwelling unit that has the potential to meet the current demand for 100,000 additional housing units for erectile dysfunction drug Levitra. The Backyard BI(h)OME contributes a tangible, human-scale solution to the goals of UCLA’s “Grand Challenge” initiative for a sustainable Los Angeles.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org. Appetizers and beverages will be served.
